2008 Bilingual Summer Program

Don't let the learning stop in the summer! Explore the full potential out of your kids by enrolling them in SCA 2008 Bilingual Summer Program. The program offers a unique learning opportunity for children aged 5 years old and up. It is designed to create a fun and relaxed environment for students to learn the Chinese language and culture, and to enhance their math and English reading skills as well. Learning is through taking lessons and participating in activities, such as making dumplings, cookies with Chinese characters, singing, dancing, games, calligraphy, drawing, math, arts and crafts, chess and many more. Programs are tailored to suit the needs of students of different ages.

Different classes for ages 5 - 13.

· Daily Schedule

8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday

8:00-9:15am Before-school free choice activities
9:15-10:15am Chinese lessons (listening, speaking, writing, singing, games)
10:15-11:00am Snack/Recess
11:00-12:00pm Chinese lessons (thru fun activities such as calligraphy, making dumplings, etc.)
12:00-2:00pm Lunch and Free Choice (chess, crafts, outdoor activities, etc.)
2:00-3:15pm Enrichment class (English language arts, Chinese, math, etc.)
3:15-3:45pm Snack/Recess
4:00-6:00pm Fun activities (chess, stories, art, Chinese cartoons, etc.)

Note:

A one-time non-refundable $25.00 Registration Fee is required for all students.

Tuition for Session 1: $220 for AM/PM class; $300 for Full Day; $340 for Extended Day class.

10% tuition discount for siblings when signing up a complete session.

10% tuition discount if signing up for 4 sessions or more.

The $25 Registration Fee is waived if registering before May 31, 2008.

· Tuition Per Day (Snacks included)

Students can also choose dates that don't match a whole session with the following adjusted tuition rates:

$30 per AM or PM Class

$40 per Full Day Class

$50 per Extended Day Class

· Lunch

Students can either bring in their own lunch or we can order hot lunch from restaurant for them. Hot lunch is provided at $20 per session for age 6 and under and $30 for age 7 and above. Each week 3 Chinese lunches and 2 American lunches will be served.
